Route: Along the Thames path, upstream towards Maidenhead. Return beside the foot of Winter Hill and the golf course. 

Directions from M4: Leave at Junction 7 (spur to A4). At roundabout go left along the A4 towards Maidenhead for about 2 miles, going under the railway and over the Thames . At roundabout just after crossing the river go right on A4094 to Cookham (about 3 miles).  In Cookham village turn left along Cookham High Street (B4447). The Crown is on your right at the edge of the village as you reach Cookham Moor.
